I'm getting married! How many months ahead should we choose what the men will wear?
We suggest you make arrangements two or more months before the wedding date. However, if you have put off registering, it is never too late to take advantage of our great selection and LOW PRICES for tuxedos. You definitely want to allow plenty of time for all of the men (and boys) in your wedding party to come in at their convenience.
How far in advance should I come to get my tuxedo fitting?
We prefer to have you come in at least two or more weeks prior to the use date. If there is a need for a tuxedo next day, Mr. Tuxedo is able to meet your needs if special circumstances arrive. However, allowing the preferred time for your order will insure when the tuxedo will be ready. Remember that sizes can be sent online.
Do I need to make an appointment for my tuxedo fitting?
Appointments are not necessary. We encourage you to come in at a time that is most convenient for your schedule. If you have a large group which is ready to get fitted, please call us so we can have extra help to accommodate the party when they arrive. Our first goal is to serve you.
How long will it take for my tuxedo fitting?
It will only take 15 to 20 minutes to be properly fitted (sized) for a tuxedo. Remember, at time of fitting we take a $10 deposit for the tuxedo and $10 for shoes (if necessary).
When will my tuxedo be ready for pickup?
Your rental tuxedo will be ready the 2 business days before the wedding or event. Tuxedos may be picked up after 3pm on Thursday for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday rentals. However, if you have special circumstances we will work with you to make necessary arrangements.
Do I have to try it on in the store when I pick it up?
- It is best to allow 15 to 20 minutes pick up time so that you can at least try on the coat, pants and shirt. This way we are assured that every tuxedo leaving our store fits properly. If there are any adjustments necessary they can usually be taken care of immediately.
- If you are not able to pick up your own tuxedo, we ask that you please try it on as soon as possible at home. If you have a concern about the fit, please contact us immediately by phone so that we may remedy the situation before your event.
When do I pay for the tuxedo rental? When does it need to be returned?
- When you pick up the tuxedo the balance will be paid. Mr. Tuxedo accepts only cash or check -- we do not accept credit card.
- The tuxedo needs to be returned one business day after the event by closing. At the time of return, we will refund you the deposit put down, if the whole outfit is returned.
